Assistant with Bard

Google Assistant with Bard, How its Android UI Designed

Assistant with Bard

Google is in the way to integrate Google Assistant with Bard to enhance user experience.

Google is in the process of bringing its chatbot, Bard, which is powered by artificial intelligence, with Google Assistant. Since the feature’s October statement, there haven’t been much updates on its official release date. However, Dylan Roussel, an Android developer, was able to utilize Bard to activate Google Assistant, which made the settings menu and user interface visible.

According to 9to5Google, Roussel posted screenshots of Google Assistant with Bard in a discussion on X, a defunct Twitter platform. The pill-shaped menu that appears when users use Google Assistant with Bard gives them the option to “type, talk, or share a photo.”

The company outlines Google Assistant with Bard’s limits when it initially releases on your phone. “You can still request hands-free assistance by saying ‘Hey Google.'” The message says, “I’m learning some classic Assistant features, but I know lots already.”

Google mentions in their description for Google Assistant with Bard that Bard may have hallucinations. “I may make things up, including about people, so double check my responses, use them responsibly, and give me feedback,” it writes.

Here is the X/Twitter post of steps.

Like the current Google Assistant, Assistant with Bard will first appear as a little window at the bottom of your OS. However, you may open Assistant with Bard in full screen mode by hitting the expand button located in the upper right corner of that window. It’s likely that lengthier discusses will favor this.

You may view your previous chats under the Chats tab when you launch the full version of Assistant with Bard. Additionally, there are ideas that provide examples of how to utilize Assistant with Bard, which are somewhat similar to those we’ve seen on the Bard web version.

Importing images for use in a chat is one of Bard’s greatest features, and Assistant with Bard will support this too. Still, the procedure is made more simpler by the latter’s Android integration. The user will be prompted to add this screen to the discussion when they open Assistant with Bard; this will take a screenshot and share it with Bard.

Once Assistant with Bard is open on top of an application, you may immediately attach a screenshot of the application by pressing “Add this screen.” After then, you can post queries about the screenshot that is attached.

Additionally, users will be able to decide whether or not to utilize Google Assistant with Bard. Users have the option to use the “classic” Google Assistant instead of Assistant with Bard.

Several alerts also remind users that when Bard isn’t ready for an assistant-based job, they can still say Hey Google to seek for assistance.

It appears that this effort is more about developing an Android “app” for Bard than it is about integrating it with Google Assistant, based on how Assistant with Bard functions. Assistant with Bard will allow for the creation of a shortcut on the Home Screen, thereby turning it into a “Bard app.”

Although Google has not yet announced the official release date for Assistant with Bard, the recent spate of leaks suggests that it will happen soon.
